Interested in learning about amateur radio service, also known as ham radio? Join us on Saturday, May 11 to hear from Kenneth Snare, a long-time licensee in amateur radio. Learn about the origin and purpose, as well as how it has evolved into a hobby for those wanting to learn electronics, serve their community, and make wireless connections with other radio operators around the world.
There will be a display of some amateur radio equipment used by hams today.
