2012 Summer Reading Club
What is the Summer Reading Club?
Read books (or listen to audiobooks, or have someone read to you) and earn coupons to local restaurants, prizes, and books. We provide a record for you to keep track of your reading. Read 20 books (or 5 hours) and earn a prize and coupon. Read 40 books (or 10 hours) and earn another coupon, a paperback book, and an entry into a drawing for a 3-month youth membership to the Marion YMCA.
Who can join and how?
Anyone ages 0-18. Stop by the Youth Services Desk to register and receive your record.
When does this start and how long do I have to finish?
Registration begins on Saturday, June 2nd at 10:30 AM. The Ohio Wildlife Center will be there to help us kick off the summer. Take your time reading...you have 8 WEEKS to finish. Just read 15 to 30 minutes a day and you'll be finished in no time. All records must be turned in by July 28th. No exceptions.
