What is an ebook?
Most simply, ebook is short for electronic book, a digital file containing text and images that can be viewed on a computer or electronic reading device. Frequently, the term ebook is also used to refer to digital audiobooks that are played on a computer or portable audio device.
How can I get free ebooks?
Kids in grades 6-12 can enjoy games, crafts, hanging out with friends and getting homework help on Tuesday afternoons when school is in session. No registration required.
Your reward for all the great reading you have done this summer! Enjoy pizza and pop, play some fun science games, and find out who the lucky winners are in the drawing for the scooters donated by Meijer--it could be you! Kickoff the science-themed summer reading club with a visit from COSI featuring hands-on learning stations. This is the first day of our summer reading club. Read books, win books! Ages 0-18. Registration begins Saturday, May 31st at the main library and Monday, June 2nd at Caledonia, LaRue, and Prospect.
